Can the A1 print ABS or ASA?
Not well — it's open-frame, so warp-prone materials crack and lift. Its ceiling is PETG for function; for ABS-class parts you want the enclosed P1S/X1C.
Does third-party filament work with the AMS lite?
Yes — any standard 1.75mm spool feeds fine. Bambu's RFID auto-detection only works with Bambu spools, so set third-party filament profiles manually in Bambu Studio.
