Ultimaker is a Dutch 3D-printer maker founded in 2011 in Utrecht by Martijn Elserman, Erik de Bruijn and Siert Wijnia, growing out of the RepRap movement. In 2022 it merged with MakerBot to form a combined company (operating as UltiMaker) backed by NPM Capital and Stratasys, focused on professional desktop FDM systems and its Cura slicing software.
